A well appointed, beautiful place to stay, with the loveliest of hosts. Our stay was very comfortable, and we did not lack for anything when it came to catering for ourselves. There are pubs and supermarkets in easy reach by car. Parking can be a little tight if you have a large car. You are adjacent to another holiday property. We stayed at No 2. No 1’s allocated parking is right outside the lounge and main bedroom windows, so there was a little noise when the occupants arrived and returned. All in all though, a lovely place to stay.

A lovely, clean cottage set in beautiful surroundings in the Swansea valley. Helen made us all feel very welcome and offered plenty of suggestions for things to see and do during our stay. The cottage has plenty of room with a nice homely feel, perfect for a rural break!

Amazing lodging to explore Wales: very near to Swansea, the coast and the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, in a quiet and beautiful natural environment. Helen, our host, was the best guide, suggesting the best places to visit (and to avoid). She knows all the corners and details of the region, and conveys her taste and passion in a very respectful and, at the same time, enthusiastic way. The house is very spacious and cosy, decorated with taste and with all the necessary equipment. Unbeatable!

We spent a few nights at the cottage and it was an amazing experience. The cottage was cozy and felt like home. The hosts were fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They went above and beyond to provide us with a 5 star experience. I can't recommend staying here enough.
Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Ideal place to stay to explore the South of Wales (including the Gower Peninsular) and the Brecon Beacons. Extra detail and effort has gone into making the house feel like home, with every facility a family needs - including a games area and snug for those rainy days, as a last resort. Beds are so comfortable and a good night's sleep is guaranteed with the property set on a hillside full of a beauty, away from the busy town. People of the surrounding area are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. A great place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It's quiet, homely, it has a well-equipped kitchen and lots of cuddly toys which our toddler loved! He took them to bed every night and dragged them downstairs again in the morning :) Beautiful walks from the doorstep. Only the parking is a little difficult, but you get used to that. And Helen is a friendly and helpful host, thank you!

A large and homely house to stay in, lots of space and creature comforts, kids loved the mini pool table and piano. A peaceful location with fantastic walking from the doorstep. We'd intended to walk in the Beacons but the weather prevented it, but instead we had lots of wonderful walks in the Swansea valley, many from the door of the house. Good for bird watching too, lots of Kingfishers on the Swansea canal. The Gower peninsular can also be easily reached in about 45 mins. Truly an interesting and lovely holiday. Helen was a fantastic host, always on hand to ensure our needs were met.

We had such a lovely time at this lovely cottage again this summer! It's in a wonderful setting, really nice walks just at your doorstep, and easy distance to so many gems. Cottage is comfortable, well equipped, and peaceful. The owners are really helpful, and were really flexible considering the uncertainty of booking during a pandemic, which made everything much easier. Would definitely recommend, especially for families with younger children, they have all the gear! We'll be back!

Amazing spacious cottage. Immaculate clean and it has absolutely everything! All towels, soaps including. The host Helen very friendly and helpful, give us a lot of useful information about beautiful locations where to go in busy bank holiday time. First time in our holidays the kitchen had all equipment needed, we can find there absolutely everything! Snooker table was great addition to our evenings. Glass of wine and beautiful fireplace to relax after full day of adventure and exploring amazing nature of South Wales it's everything what we needed. I would definitely recommend this cottage for everyone.

We so enjoyed our holiday in this lovely cottage. The cottage is really nicely decorated, and is roomy as well as feeling cozy. It had everything we needed, in the kitchen as well as in terms of children's equipment, including a bed guard and stair gate. There were also lots of toys for the kids!
We love the setting too, picturesque and quiet. We enjoyed the footpath which you can join straight from the house, and we loved the nearby cycle path by the river. It is also within easy distance from so many lovely spots.
Couldn't recommend the cottage enough, such a relaxing getaway.
